PROPHAR, a French manufacturer of food supplements since 1997, has new facilities in Saint Barthélemy d'Anjou, a town on the outskirts of Angers. This new production site includes:

  • 5000 m² of premises
  • 3000 m² of resin surface flooring 
  • 1000 m² of cleanrooms (divided into 16 manufacturing bays)

Air quality management

Our facilities include 16 rooms in a ZAC (Controlled Atmosphere Zone)

Air treatment:

  • Rooms under positive pressure (>5hPa)
  • Constant temperature

Equipment

The size and diversity of our equipment allows us to meet all types of requests, from 10,000 to several million capsules per batch.

  • We have 5 capsule filling machines, giving us an annual production capacity of over 200 million capsules. All capsule sizes (from T.2 to T.00) and all types of gelatin are possible. Our capsule filling machines (of USA or European origin) are all pharmaceutical-grade and feature hard chrome plating.
  • Our facilities include 5 packaging lines dedicated to capsules.
  • For large production runs, we are equipped with 2 automated lines
  • Our blends are made by 2 mixers, whose precision is certified to 1/100,000th.

Logistics

  • A dedicated team ensures daily direct shipping to dozens of points of sale.
  • Our building has 15 shipping docks.
  • An in-house printing facility and printing service are available to produce customer labels.
